For finding the various parabola we know that the general vertex form of a parabola is y=m(x−a)^2+b where the vertex is (a, b). So the given equation is

y=-x^2+12x-4

y=(-1)(x^2-12x)-4, by adding (12/2)^2and substrate (12/2)^2 for making a square formula

y=(-1)(x^2-12x+ (6)^2-(6)^2)-4

y=(-1)[(x+6)^2 +36-4]

y=(-1)[(x+6)^2 +32]………(1)

By comparing equation(1) with the general equation y=m(x−a)^2+b

We get the vertices  ( 6,32) answer.
