The sum of the measures of the interior angles of any simple, convex polygon is:
(n-2) × 180°

 where n = the number of sides

 A nonagon contains 9 sides, so

 n =9

Then,     (9-2) × 180° = 1260°

Therefore, total of the interior angles of a nonagon is 1260°
