A megalopolis can be defined as a very large city, which is highly populated and dense. It comprises several metropolises. It can be a group of two or more adjacent metropolitan areas, that are separated by urban regions. A few examples of megalopolis cities include Tokyo-Yokohama in Japan, Delhi in India, Manila in the Philippines, and Seoul-Incheon in South Korea. In the whole world the largest known megapolis is the greater Tokyo, which generates 2 trillion in economic output and home to almost 40 million people.
