The statement “Do not judge a book by its cover”, means that we should not criticize something or someone just by looking at them. There are times that when we see a person or a thing, we often give criticism or judgement based on their physical aspect and appearance. It is the same as judging a book just by looking at the cover, and not the whole content. In life, before a judging or criticizing someone, you must determine their true nature, or their true essence, in order not to make false assumptions and commit a sin. In order to know someone better, it is ideal to talk to them, try to communicate and be friends in order to learn their values, and true self. When that happens, you can really determine who that person really is.
