Romulus and Remus were famously known as the founder of Rome. They are twin brothers who are the children of Rhea Silvia and Mars ( The Roman God of War ). They are the direct descendant of Aeneas, an adventurer, who was known to discover Italy. According to the story, King Amulius, fearing the wrath of Mars did not wish to directly stain his hands with the mother's and children's blood. As a result, King Amulius ordered for the imprisonment of Rhea Silvia and the twins' death by means of live burial, exposure, or being thrown into the Tiber River. Fearing the punishment for what he will be doing, he chose that to throw the twins to the Tiber River. The river god Tibernus ensured the safety of Romulus and Remus by calming the river, and he caused their basket to catch in the roots of a nearby fig tree. This is where a wolf discovered the two children, and instead of feasting on them, the wolf took care of the two children, by letting them feed on her breast, and in turn paved way for the growth of the children, which later resulted to the discovery of Rome, after many events.
