Given :

Two points on line : (-10,1) (5,-5)

x1 = -10 , y1 = 1

And, x2 = 5 , y2 = -5

First, we have to find the slope of the points

So, slope(m) = (y2 - y1)/(x2-x1)

m =( -5 -1)/5-(-10)

= -6/15

= -2/5

Now, equation of line

Y = mx + b

where, b is y-intercept

Point = (-10,1)

1 = -2/5(-10) + b

1 = 4 + b

b = 1 - 4

b = -3

So, equation of line

Y = -2/5x - 3

Now, we have to find the value of x when y = -3 (given)

-3 = -2/5x - 3

-2/5x = -3 + 3

-2/5x = 0

x = 0

Hence, x coordinate is 0 .
