Let machine 2 makes yarn in one hour =x yards

Machine 1 makes yarn in one hour=2x

According to question

x+2x =1600

3x= 1600

x= 1600/3

X= 533.33 yards

Machine 2 makes yarn in one hour=533.33 yards

Machine 1 makes yarn in one hour=

2x533.33 = 1066.67yards
