Given :

Number of boys = 18

Number of girls = 12

To find the largest number of group which can be formed, we have to find highest common factor of 12 and 18

So, 12 = 2 × 2 × 3

18 = 2 × 3 × 3

So, HCF is 6

Hence, 6 group can be formed each having 3 boys and 2 girls .
