Genocide is categorized as the systematic killing of an entire group of people.

It is an intentional act that is pursued by an individual, group, or a country to kill a vast number of people, in order to achieve a certain goal, vision or to showcase power. Genocide is often the cause of national wars and civil wars, whereas one group wants to take revenge on another group by killing almost all members of that group or that country without the consideration of the lives of innocent individuals that have no connection with the conflict.
