Let the first number be x

And, second number be y

Then, x + y = 25 …..(1)

x = 2y + 7

Or, x -2y = 7 ……(2)

Using elimination method:

Subtractin equation 1 from 2

x + y - (x - 2y) = 25 - 7

x + y - x + 2y = 18

3y = 18

y = 18/3

y = 6

Putting value of y in equation 2, we get

x - 2(6) = 7

x - 12 = 7

x = 7 + 12

x = 19

Hence, the two Numbers are 19 and 6.
