Length = 2x
And, width is twice of length. So, width = 4x
Now, we know
Perimeter = 2(L + W)
48 = 2(2x + 4x)
48 = 2(6x)
48 = 12x
x = 48/12
x = 4
So, length = 2 × 4 = 8
And, width = 4 × 4 = 16
