given that:- perimeter of rectangle= 35 feet

let width of rectangle= x

so, length of rectangle=¼x

perimeter of rectangle=2(length+width)

35=2(¼x+x)

35=2((x+4x)/4)

35=2(5x/4)

35=5x/2

35*2=5x

70=5x

x=70/5

x=14 (Width)

length=¼x

=¼ *14

=7/2=3.5 feet (Length)
