Let the width of TV be x

Then, Length of TV is 3x -5

Perimeter = 150 inches

Perimeter = 2(l + w)

150 = 2(3x -5 + x)

150 = 2(4x -5)

150 = 8x -10

8x = 150 +10

8x = 160

x = 160/8

x = 20

So, width = 20 inches

Now, Length = 3(20) -5

= 60 - 5

= 55 inches
