We can simply form an equation and we can find out how many steps it would take.
So, lets call x the number of steps it would take. Its X because we don't know the number of steps.
If 1 step is 2.5ft then the distance would be 2.5ft. So 2.5*1=2.5.
On that specific case, the number of steps was 1, so 1=X.
The equation we form is: 2.5*x=50 ft (50ft is wanted from the exercise)

x=50/2.5

x=20steps
