Given : average of 10 numbers  = -10

Sum of 6 numbers =100

Let the sum of remaining 4 number be x

Formula Used : Average = Sum of all observations/number of observations

-10 = (100 + x)/10

Cross-Multiplying, we get

-100 = 100 + x

x = -100 - 100

x = -200

Average of 4 numbers = -200/4

                                        = -50

Thus, the average of 4 numbers are -50.
