We have,

 -2x + 3y = 6       ….1

 x + 2y = -4         ….2

Multiplying equation 2 by 2 , we ger

2x + 4y = -8        …3

Now, adding equation 1 and 3, we get

-2x + 3y + 2x + 4y = 6 - 8

7y = - 2

y = -2/7

Now, putting value of y in equation 2, we get

x + 2(-2/7) = -4

x - 4/7 = -4

x = -4 + 4/7

x =( -28 + 4)/7

x = -24/7

So, value of x and y are -24/7 and - 2/7 respectively.
