So: 

-5(t+4) ≥ 3(t-4)

-5t-20 ≥ 3t-12

-5t-3t ≥ -12+20

-8t ≥ 8

now be careful here, if we add or substract a negative number, the sign doesn't change, but in this case we have to divide using a negative number

If we have to divide using a negative number, the number is change, so from > to < and vice versa

t ≤ -1
