We have,
3x-2y=22 ….(1)
2x+5y=2 ….(2)
From equation 1
3x = 22 + 2y
x = 22 + 2y/3 ….(3)
Now, Substituting value of x in equation 2, we get
2(22 +2y/3) + 5y = 2
44 + 4y + 15y = 6
19y = 6 - 44
y = -38/19
y = -2
Now, putting value of y in equation 3
x = 22 + 2(-2)/3
x = 22 -4/3
x = 18/3
x = 6
Now, checking for equation 1
3(6) -2(-2) = 22
18 + 4 = 22
22 = 22
Now, checking for equation 2
2(6) + 5(-2) = 2
12 -10 = 2
