Given the value:

(x^4y^2)^3

Simplify the expression.

Solution:

In order to simplify the expression, we simply needed to apply the rules of exponent which states that when we raise a value with an exponent to another exponent, we simply needed to multiply the exponents of those values.

= (x^4y^2)^3

= x^((4)(3))y^((3)(2))

= x^12y^6

Final answer:
= x^12y^6
