Let cost of 1 T-shirt be $x

Let $ y be tha money he had

Then,

y + 8.10 = 8x       ….1

y = 5x + 12.60       ….2

Putting value of y in equation 1 from 2, we have

5x + 12.60 + 8.10 = 8x

20.70 = 8x - 5x

3x = 20.70

x = 20.70/3

x = $6.9

So, Cost of 1 t-shirt is $6.9

Now, cost of 20 t-shirt = 20 × 6.9

= $138

Thus, cost of 20 t-shirts is $138.
