Let's find which pair of functions is not a pair of inverse functions.

A. f(x)= x+1/6 and g(x)= 6x-1

For finding the inverse function we substitute x to y

x=(y+1)/6

y= 6x-1 it's our g(x).

It's an inverse function.

B. f(x)= x-4/19 and g(x)= 19x+4

For finding the inverse function we substitute x to y

x= (y-4)/19

y= 19x+4, it's our g (x) it's an inverse function.

C. f(x)= x^5 and g(x)= 5√x

For finding the inverse function we substitute x to y

x= y^5

y=5√x, it's our g(x)  its inverse function.

D. f(x)= x/(x + 20) and g(x)= 20x/x-1

For finding the inverse function we substitute x to y

x= y/(y+20)

x(y+20)= y

y(x-1)=-20x

y=(-20x)/(x-1) it's not our g(x) it's not an inverse function. Option D is correct.
