Please help! Given the function f(x) = 4 - 2x: If the domain is {-4, 0, 5}, find the range. A) {-4, 4, -6} B) {-4, 4, 14} C) {12, 4, -6} D) {12, 4, 14)

For finding the range of the given function we wanna put domain x  values in f(x)

So the function is  f(x) = 4 - 2x

Given domain = {-4, 0, 5}

We know that in order pair (x,y) are

X = domain ,y = range. In a relation x can have 2 or more than 2 ranges.so putting domain x values in function of x or you can say f(x) .

f(-4) = 4 - 2(-4) = 12

f(0) = 4 - 2(0) = 4

f(5) = 4 - 2(5) = -6

f(x) = 12, 4, -6.

So the range of given function f(x)=4-2x and domain {-4,0,5}  is {12, 4, -6}.
