Let the larger number be x

and, smaller number be y

Then, according to question:

x = 4y + 56 ….(1)

6x - 6y = 678

x -y = 113 .…(2)

Now, putting value of x from equation 1 to equation 2, we get

4y + 56 - y = 113

3y = 113 - 56

3y = 57

y = 57/3

y = 19

Now, putting value of y in equation 1, we get

x = 4(19) + 56

x = 76 + 56

x = 132

Thus, the larger number is 132 .
