Let the number of Bruin t-shirts sold be x

And, number of Bruin sweatpanys sold be y

Then, according to question

x + y = 70 ….1

12x + 30y = 1200 ….2

Multiplying equation 1 by 12 and Subtracting it by equation 2, we get

12x + 30y - 12 x - 12y = 1200 - 840

18y = 360

y = 360/18

y = 20

Now, Substituting value of y in equation 1, we get

x + 20 = 70

x = 70 - 20

x = 50

Thus, Noah sold 50 t-shirts and 20 sweatpants.
