Formula used :

Mean = sum of all terms/number of terms

Here, we have

Mean = 21

Let points scored by Kareem in 4th game be x

Then, Mean = (21 + 17 + 25 + x)/ 4

21 = (63 + x)/ 4

Cross multiplying, we get

63 + x = 84

x = 84 - 63

x = 21

Therefore, Kareem needs to score 21 points in next match to maintain mean of 21.
