Jacob jogged 3 miles in 30 minutes on Wednesday and 5 miles in 50 minutes on Thursday. Otto jogged 4 miles in 32 minutes on Wednesday and 6 miles in 50 minutes on Thursday. Whose data shows the proportional relationship between the number of miles jogged and the time spent jogging?

According to the question, Jacob jogged 3 miles in 30 minutes on Wednesday and 5 miles in 50 minutes on Thursday

the proportional relationship between the number of miles jogged and the time spent jogging:-

so, the ratio of Wednesday and Thursday jogging of Jacob => 3/30 = 5/50

      1/10 = 1/10

so the ratio of wednesday and thrusday is same 1:10

now Otto jogged 4 miles in 32 minutes on Wednesday and 6 miles in 50 minutes on Thursday

so, ratio of Wednesday and Thursday jogging of Otto => 4/32 = 6/50

     1/8 = 2/25

here ratio of Otto  is not correct !
