True
Low temperatures slow the growth of germs. This is due to the fact that when a microorganism or any other organisms are exposed to a cold temperature/low temperature, different factors will be affected. For organisms, the process of homeostasis takes place in order to cope up with the change in temperature, whereas for micro-organisms, such as bacteria and germs, the chemical processes and activities of the cell are often affected which hinders or stops the growth of germs.
