Let the smaller number be x

And, larger number be y

Then, according to question

y = x + 5 ….1

y = 2x ….2

Putting value of y in equation 1

2x = x + 5

2x - x = 5

x = 5

Now, putting value of x in equation 2, we get

y = 2 × 5

y = 10

Thus, two numbers are 5 and 10.
