The formula for calculating elapsed time is:
elapsed time = end time – start time
For example to calculate the elapsed time between 11:30 and 17:50. we have to subtract hours first (17-11 = 6) and then minutes ( 50-30= 20). Here elapsed time would 6 hour 20 minutes.
