Bacteria are  single-celled, microscopic organisms that thrive in diverse environments. They are classified to be prokaryotic, since they lack some membrane bound organelles. These microscopic organisms are known to live in soil, the ocean, trees, door handles, etc.  There are different kinds of bacteria that may be harmful or helpful to a human person. Some bacteria are the caused of critical diseases, while there are also some that are considered to be a good bacteria. Virus, on the other hand are even smaller than a bacteria, and requires a host such as a human person, animals or plant, in order to live and multiply. Without a host, the virus will not be able to surivive.
