Answer: You can also remove nitrogen from the air by producing liquid nitrogen. You repeatedly compress and cool air until it is a liquid and then separate the nitrogen by fractional distillation. This process doesn’t actually remove all that much nitrogen in the air when you consider just how much air there really is.
