Answer. The y-value increases by 5.

Reason:- let x=0 then, y=5*0-7

y=-7

now,  x= then, y=5*1-7

y=5-7=-3

now,  x=2 then, y=5*2-7

y=10-7=3

now, x=3 then, y=5*3-7

y=15-7=8

so, the series -7,-3,3,8….. is showing the difference of 5 between two numbers and also this series is in the increasing way 

so, this series shows increment by 5.
