Regions near the equator are known to have a tropical climate or a very hot climate, also considering the topography, or where the country is located. Hence, the farther the country is from the equator, the colder it gets. One example is Antarctica which is located at the bottom of our world, hence the climate in this region is very cold. For the population, countries, with tropical climate or hot climate tends to have a higher population, than that of polar regions. This can be proven by the population of China compared to the population of Antartica. We all know that Antartica is less populated, compared to the dense population of China.
