Carbohydrates are Macronutrients, they are associate with calories, carbohydrate are compound of oxygen, carbon, hydrogen.  On the other hand, vitamins are micro-nutrients, they aren't associated with calories, Vitamins are organic substances, which means they're made by plants or animals.
