In order to find out how long it will take her to complete 100% of her homework, we can create just a simple ratio. Lets call this unknown time X.
If 75% of homework takes 3 hours,
Then 100% of homework takes X hours.
Cross multiply in order to create the equations, 75 times x equal to 100 times 3.
75x = 100*3
75x=300
Divide both sides with 75.
75x/75 = 300/75
x=4 hours
