A storage container is shaped like a rectangle prism . The volume of the container is 1,360 cubic feet . The are of the bad of the container is 160 square feet . What is the height of the container in feet ?

Volume of rectangular prism = Area × height

We have,

Volume = 1360 cubic feet 

Area = 160 square feet 

Putting values in formula, we get

1360 = 160 × height

Height = 1360/160

= 136/16

= 8.5 feet

 

Thus, height of container is 8.5 feet
