Given
h= 8ft
l= 4.5b
b = b
volume of water = 3600ft³

volume of pool = volume of water

l x b x h = volume of water

4.5b × b × 8 = 3600

36b^2 = 3600

b^2 = 3600 ÷ 36

b^2 = 100

b = sq root  100

b = 10ft

if b = 10ft,

hence l = 4.5b

= 4.5 × 10

= 45ft
