This statement is considered to be an opinion since the development of a child does not necessarily depend on the number of parents that it has, although some children's productivity may get affected when there is only one parent, compared to having 2 parents. Although the concept of which one is better usually depends on how the parent/parents raised their children with love, care and compassion. Having 2 parents who constantly quarrel each other is a disadvantage compared to having one parent who devotes his/her attention for the betterment of his/her child.
