A bag of marbles contains 3 red marbles, 4 blue marbles, and 6 green marbles. If two marbles are pulled out without replacement, find the probability of getting one red and one blue marble.

Given : 

Number of red marbles = 3

Number of blue marbles = 4

Number of green marbles = 6

Total marbles = 3 + 4 + 6

= 13

Probability = Favorable outcome/Total outcome 

Probability of getting red marble = 3/13

Now, remaining marbles = 12

Probability of getting blue marble = 4/12

= 1/ 3

So, 

Probability of getting red and blue marble = 3/13 × 1/ 3

= 1/13
