Lets try and remove the brackets in the both sides of the inequality. Multiply 6 with (6k-4) and remove the brackets in (2k-3) but because there is a minus in front of the bracket, the signs inside will switch.

4 (6k -4) > 7k - (2k -3)

24k-16 >7k - 2k + 3

24k - 16 > 5k + 3

Lets put the variables on one side of the inequality and the numbers on the other side. The numbers and the variables that will change sides will have their sign switched but that wont affect the inequality sign to change, so it will stay > .

24k-5k > 3+16

19k > 19

Divide both sides with 19. Since 19>0 that wont affect the sign > either.

19k/19 > 19/19

k > 1
