Lets try to keep the variables on one side of the equation and the numbers all on the other side of the equation. Every number or variable that will change sides, will have its sign changed from a + into a - and vice versa.

2e=15-45

2e=-30

Divide both sides with 2.

2e/2 = -30/2

e = -15
