2(5x-1)=3(x+11)

Finding for the General Equation:

  1. Multiply first the outside numbers with their corresponding expressions
  2.
  3. 2(5x-1)=3(x+11)
  4. 10x-2 = 3x + 33

Transpose all the equation in one side, always take note that the signs change when you tranpose it.

10x-2-3x -33 = -

=7x-35

Finding for the value of x:

Equate the general solution so 0

7x-35=0

Transpose -35 to the other side, and divide both sides by 7

7x=35

x=5
