given that :- ABCD is a quadrilateral composed from two right triangles:-

where, AD=3 , AB=AD+1 , DC=AD*AB

AB,DC,BD,BC=?

so AB=AD+1

AB=3+1          (AD=3)

AB=4

DC=AD*AB

DC=3*4

DC=12

now as we know that ABCD is a quadrilateral which is composed from two right triangles

so, ABD is a right triangle where  AB=4, AD=3 and BD=?

RIGHT TRIANGLE follows pythagoras theorem =>   perpendicular^2+base^2=hypotenuse^2

Perpendicular=AD

base=AB

hypotenuse=BD

AD^2+AB^2=BD^2

3^2+4^2=BD^2

9+16=BD^2

25=BD^2

BD=root 25

BD=5
