CaO or Calcium oxide is commonly known as quicklime is a widely used chemical compound. CHO or Formyl radical is an organic compound because it has carbon molecule. C2H60  or more commonly known as ethanol is also an organic compound because it carries carbon. Therefore, CaO is not an organic compound because it does not contain carbon material.
